Description: Carlo Alberto Vermouth is a historic Italian vermouth named after Carlo Alberto of Savoy, King of Sardinia (1831–1849), who played a notable role in the early Italian unification movement. The vermouth was originally created in the 19th century and is tied to Turin, the birthplace of vermouth and a hub for royal and aristocratic tastes at the time.
It follows the classic Turin-style vermouth, which is typically rich, aromatic, and slightly bitter-sweet—designed to be enjoyed on its own or in cocktails
It is a bartender‑oriented mixology version in 1 L bottles, using the same botanical palette but balanced for cocktails, also crafted by Compagnia dei Caraibi using the historic Piedmonts’ recipe.
Tasting notes: it’s often made in small batches with a focus on historical authenticity. It has a more floral and delicate expression.
