Enotria Tellus

History

Enotria Tellus was founded in 2016 by Fabio Lucchese (enologist, class of 1987) and Anisa Abazi (industrial engineer, class of 1990). The Lucchese family’s passion for good wine has been passed down for generations. The activity was started by the grandfather Giuseppe (“Bepi”) and then carried forward by his son Giacomo.

Motivated by childhood roots in local viticulture and inspired by the ancient Latin name meaning “Land of Wine,” they transformed a former family-owned stable into a boutique winery at San Polo di Piave in the Marca Trevigiana. From their first harvest, they managed the entire winemaking process, from vineyard to bottle, with a deep commitment to quality, experimentation, and storytelling. Their mission is to enhance local identity by blending heritage with innovation, under the emblematic yellow poppy symbolizing resilience on rocky terrain

The Vineyards

Their estate lies in the heart of the Terre del Piave, where vineyards surround the winery—including the historic vineyard “La Bellussera”, whose geometric layout evokes an aerial embroidery and stands as a living monument to past viticultural traditions.

The vines thrive in stony, medium-textured soils shaped by the river Piave, with terrain that mirrors the land’s history and imprints minerality into each grape cluster. All fruit comes from proprietary vineyards managed with care and precision, reflecting the founders’ philosophy of stewardship and identity.

The Cellar

The winery occupies a renovated rustic building adjacent to a villa formerly owned by a local professor. The transformation into a modern cellar began in 2015, and by 2016 production was underway, guided by principles of simplicity, creativity, and respect for tradition.

Though the site is compact, it includes a tasting room, event space, and facilities designed to magnify the winery’s connection with visitors. It’s a place where the bottle’s journey becomes an immersive sensory experience, framed by design and storytelling rooted in terroir, community, and craft.
