Terroir: The vineyards are situated near the Piave River, characterized by stony and medium-textured soils. South and North-facing exposure, with vines aged 15 to 25 years. The area benefits from a temperate climate with good sun exposure, contributing to the optimal ripening of the grapes.
Vinification: The selected Merlot grapes are vinified in steel at a controlled temperature maceration of 15 days
Ageing: Subsequently, 50% of the wine is aged for 7 months in American oak tonneaux, while the remaining 50% is aged in stainless steel. The wine then undergoes an additional month of bottle ageing before release.
Tasting notes: ruby red in colour with purple hues. Nose: notes of red fruits (blackberry, black currant, cherry), fruity aroma, mix of spices. Flavour: soft, velvety, slightly tannic and persistent.
Temperature of service: served at 16-18°C
Food Pairing: Suitable for the entire meal, it pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, cheeses, and first courses.
