Tenuta Ronzano
History
Tenuta Ronzano began with Renato Ronzano, who bought the property where he once worked as a sharecropper beneath Bricco Lù in Costigliole d’Asti. In 1963, he planted the family’s first vineyards, laying the foundation for a winery built on hard work, resilience, and care for the land.
Today, Marco and Paola Ronzano continue the family legacy as the third generation, bringing together two important vineyard areas: Costigliole d’Asti, known for Barbera, and Neive, dedicated to Barbaresco and Nebbiolo.
The Vineyards
Tenuta Ronzano has 20 hectares of vineyards, with 12 hectares in Costigliole d’Asti and 8 hectares in Neive. The estate produces Piedmontese DOC and DOCG wines, with a focus on Barbera, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, and Alta Langa.
The vineyards range from 35 to 100 years old, with limited yields per hectare to support quality and preserve the character of each territory. Grapes are harvested by hand at full ripeness and carefully selected.

The Cellar
Tenuta Ronzano combines family tradition with research and innovation. Since 2006, Marco Ronzano has focused on studying the terroir and the factors that influence wine quality, with the goal of producing wines that express their place clearly.
The winery’s philosophy is centred on sincere wines made with respect for the land, the fruit, and the family’s long winemaking heritage.
