Piovà Barbera d’Asti Superiore DOCG 2020

Vinification: after de-stemming and crushing, the fermentation is with               maceration of the skins for about a month at 28°C. After a pouring, the malolactic          fermentation is started.

Ageing: ages in barriques for 24 months

Tasting notes: Colour: Intense, dark purple. Generous and inviting nose of rich cherry and plum, dried rose petals on the aftertaste. Broad and full-bodied on the palate, develops slowly and is velvety on the tongue, concentrated ripe fruit, long finish.

Temperature of service:  Served at 18°C

Food Pairing: Ideal with duck, game birds, roasted meats, hearty pasta, veal, pork, poultry
