Terroir: These vineyards are situated in a hilly area at altitudes ranging from 450 to 500m asl. The soils are loose and of alluvial origin, contributing to the unique characteristics of the wine
Vinification: A traditional red vinification with crushing-destemming, maceration in contact with the skins in truncated conical oak vats for a few days.
Ageing: in large oak barrels for 10 months and a short refinement in the bottle
Tasting notes: bright and intense ruby red colour. Hints of red berries, raspberry, wild strawberry, and cherry, with a slight almond note that recalls the aging in large barrels
Temperature of service: served lightly chilled at 13°C, or as a classic red wine temperature between 15–18°C, depending on style and preference.
Food Paring: This wine pairs excellently with pasta dishes featuring meat ragù, as well as with main courses of red and white meats. Its structure also allows for good ageing potential in the bottle, making it suitable for pairing with game and aged cheeses
