Terroir: Medium deep soils with low fertility and good presence of gravel and rocks (20-30%)  in Montalcino. Altitude 480-570m asl, with yields around 45 q/ha.

Vinification: The agronomic practices follow the essentials of a sustainable agriculture. Cover cropping is only carried out as needed, thanks to the symbiotic     nature of the ecosystem that has developed in the vineyard. Fermentation for 8 days in troncoconics stainless steel vats at low temperatures (max 27°C); additional 30 days of maceration.

Ageing: 30 months in 40-hl Slavonian oak barrels, following 18 months of bottle refinement.

Tasting notes: It is a concentrated, flavourful red wine with a red hue and orange highlights. On the nose, it is very intense, with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, bitter orange, and spices (cloves, cinnamon). On the palate, it is taut and powerful, with well-integrated tannins. The finish is long and refreshing.

Temperature of service:  Served at 16-18°C

Food Pairing: Perfect with braised meats, wild boar, aged Pecorino, mushroom risotto, and hearty Tuscan dishes.
