Le Mandolare
History
For over half a century, Le Mandolare has vinified grapes from its own vineyards in Brognoligo, Castelcerino, Fittà, and Monteforte, within the cradle of the Soave Classico zone. The estate draws its identity from a tradition rooted in respect of the land and hand-harvested practices that reflect the heritage of the Alpone Valley, once chosen by the Bishops of Verona for retreat and contemplation.
Gathering grapes exclusively from its own plots and managing every phase of production, Le Mandolare brings tradition and innovation together to satisfy even the most discerning palate
The Vineyards
Le Mandolare cultivates approximately 20 hectares of vineyards on volcanic basaltic and limestone soils in the Soave Classico hills of Brognoligo and Castelcerino. These ancient soils imprint minerality and structure into the wines. The vineyards are carefully tended by the family, reflecting a commitment to environmental stewardship and quality.
When visiting, one is struck by the serene natural beauty of the Alpone hills, a place considered a perfectly preserved natural environment by the Ministry of the Environment
The Cellar
The winery was created to offer a refined and modern environment that blends traditional atmosphere with technological innovation. Refinement, whether in stainless steel tanks or barriques, bottling, and packaging are all managed personally by the owners, ensuring nothing is left to chance.
The elegant tasting room and brick-vaulted barrel cellar provide a magical meeting place between the result of dedicated work and the curiosity of visitors. It is a space where wine and people converge for a moment of delightful escape from daily life.
