Grape Variety: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Appellation: DOC Friuli

Terroir: calcareous soils rich in minerals around Cormòns and Gradisca, gravel terrain in Grave d’Isonzo
Vinification: The de-stemmed grapes are macerated at a low temperature for a long time inside cooled pneumatic presses to extract from the skin the antioxidant substances which are beneficial to the human body; the must ferments at a controlled temperature and is then drawn into large barrels.
Ageing: It rests for 6-7 months on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting notes: straw yellow colour with coppery reflections and greyish highlights. On the nose, it offers delicate fruity aromas of chamomile, banana, pineapple, and rennet apples. The palate is refined and mellow, with elegant notes of almond and hazelnut that add complexity and depth to the wine’s smooth and balanced profile.
Temperature of service: served at 8-10° in summer and 11-13° in winter, in a long-stemmed, wide, capacious tulip-shaped glass.
Food Paring: Raw-fish antipasti and shellfish, blue fish, cheese canapés and vole au vent, risotto with mushrooms and boiled meats with sauces and mustards.
