Perarmando Barolo DOCG 2017

Terroir: Bussia, with its sandy, white marl, and silty soil. Mosconi, in Monforte d’Alba, characterized by white marl and tuffaceous soil. The Mariondino cru, in Castiglione Falletto, with its marl-sandstone structure and veins of sand.

Dedicated to Armando Parusso, founder of the present company, produced by blending prestigious Nebbiolo grapes coming from the CRU Mariondino, Mosconi and Bussia.

Vinification: After de-stemming, the grapes undergo maceration in contact with the skins. Alcoholic fermentation occurs naturally with its indigenous for some months.

Ageing: In small oak barrels for minimum 18 months in contact with its indigenous yeasts.  In bottle at the controlled temperature of 15°C

Tasting notes:  Colour: ruby red, almost garnet. Nose: Wide and deep-rooted, ripe fruits, liquorice. Flavour: Soft at the palate, harmonious, fresh, delicate in tannins, rich in red fruit.

Temperature of service:  Served at 16-17°C

Food Pairing: Ideal for delicate meat dishes such as grilled fillet, overcooked in the oven or first courses such as ravioli, tagliatelle al ragù, truffled foods and aged cheeses.
